Do I have to be flexible? 
No, you do not have to be flexible. Yoga is not about how flexible you are. It is more important that you do your best and pay attention to proper alignment. During the series you stretch your whole body and spine in all directions. The more you practice, the more flexible you become.

Why the heat?

- Increases cardiovascular stamina

- Increases elasticity of the muscles

- Flushes toxins from the body.

Is there a beginner's class?
The Bikram Yoga classes are suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced. The same goes for our Yin Yoga and Core classes. The exception is the Ghosh Yoga class, which is for more advanced students and students who have been with the school for a longer period of time. 

How often can I practice Bikram Yoga? 
You can practice every day. A break is not necessary. Decide for yourself how often you want to take class. 

I am pregnant, can I practice Bikram Yoga? 
Yes, you can. If you have never practiced Bikram Yoga before, wait until your second trimester starts. If you have practiced Bikram Yoga before your pregnancy, keep on coming. Inform the teacher about your pregnancy. During your pregnancy the postures will be adapted.

Are classes taught in English?
All Bikram Yoga classes are taught in Dutch and English. All other classes are taught in Dutch, but when you do not understand Dutch, the instructions will be in English. 

Can I do an introduction week more than once? 
You can only do another introduction after a minimum of 1 year after your first introduction week and only if you have not taken any other classes at our school such as drop ins or classes by lesson card.
